The Opportunity:
As a Science Tutor, you will provide targeted support to students in small groups or one-to-one, delivering engaging sessions via Microsoft Teams. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes and contribute to a dynamic, high-performing institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality science tuition to identified students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
- Support KS4 students with evening sessions via Microsoft Teams.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Track and report on student progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in teaching.
- Maintain accurate records of student engagement and performance.
- Participate in school-wide training and development opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
- Ability to deliver effective one-to-one and small group tuition.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with online teaching platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
- Commitment to student success and personal development.
Preferred
- Experience working with students in KS4.
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment standards.
- Experience in a school with a strong sense of community and high performance.
- Background in supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
