The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education that inspires and challenges students. You will be responsible for creating engaging lessons and supporting student progress, while contributing to a positive and dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality, curriculum-focused lessons that promote student achievement and engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching and learning strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance, ensuring compliance with school policies.
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and British Values by fostering a respectful and supportive classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to support student learning and school initiatives.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events to enhance student experience and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification and experience in Maths education.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience in delivering lessons that promote student achievement and engagement.
- Ability to assess and support student learning effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Experience in mentoring or supporting new teachers.
