The Opportunity:
As a Learning Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting students and driving improvements in behaviour, attendance, and academic outcomes. You will work closely with the Inclusion Coordinator and Leadership Team to ensure students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support students in the year group academically and behaviourally.
- Collaborate with the Inclusion Coordinator and Leadership Team to improve student behaviour and attendance.
- Work with students, parents, and external agencies to address student needs in a professional and confidential manner.
- Ensure deadlines are met and priorities are effectively managed.
- Provide leadership and support to students, setting a positive example.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders to ensure consistent support for students.
- Support the school’s improvement plan and contribute to a culture of continuous progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven ability to work with students and understand their needs.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
- Experience in managing student behaviour and supporting academic progress.
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and external agencies.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
- Experience with student support and pastoral care.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and improvement strategies.
