Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality art lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
- Foster creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression in students through engaging and inclusive teaching methods.
- Develop and maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects and extracurricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay up to date with developments in art education and incorporate new ideas into teaching practice.
- Contribute to the wider school community through mentorship, leadership, and pastoral care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor’s in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- Exceptional subject knowledge in art, with experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education practices.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching a range of international qualifications, such as the IB Diploma, AS/A Levels, or BTEC.
- Experience in developing and delivering extracurricular art programmes or activities.
- Familiarity with digital tools and technologies used in art education.
