The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Biology lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies aligned with GCSE and A Level qualifications
• Coordinate and lead subject-related initiatives and projects
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and professional development
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
• Participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and pastoral care responsibilities
• Stay up to date with developments in Biology and education best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
• Proven ability to teach GCSE and A Level Biology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding
• Proficient level of English

Preferred

• Experience working in a British school, particularly in the UAE
• Leadership experience in a subject area
• Experience in coordinating or leading educational initiatives
• Strong understanding of British curriculum standards
• Experience with inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies
