The Opportunity:

The Head of Co-Curricular Activities will lead the development and delivery of a dynamic, inclusive co-curricular programme that supports student growth and aligns with the school’s vision and values. This role is central to fostering student engagement, community involvement, and the promotion of a well-rounded education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for a high-quality co-curricular programme.
  • Design a diverse and inclusive programme across multiple disciplines to support student development.
  • Oversee the timetabling, staffing, and coordination of co-curricular activities.
  • Manage budgets and liaise with finance and purchasing teams for resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and risk assessments for all students.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication with parents, students, and staff.
  • Recruit and manage external providers to deliver co-curricular activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of co-curricular programmes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support staff professional development and engagement in co-curricular initiatives.
  • Promote the co-curricular programme through community engagement and public events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in co-curricular or extracurricular programme management.
  • Strong organisational and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Ability to develop and implement inclusive learning opportunities.

Preferred

  • Experience in international school environments.
  • Background in curriculum development or educational leadership.
