Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in design and visual communication.
• Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student expression and collaboration.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies that support student growth and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enhance learning experiences and student outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends and integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into the classroom.
• Support student wellbeing and personal development through mentorship and guidance.
• Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and community-building initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Strong understanding of design and visual communication curricula, including IB and Swiss Baccalaureate frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students.

Preferred

• Experience with bilingual or multilingual education environments.
• Familiarity with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) integration.
• Experience with digital tools and design software.
• Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles within the department.
