The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary Design & Technology Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons and support student growth. This role offers the chance to shape young minds in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Design & Technology lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum
- Track and assess student progress to ensure academic success
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to enhance student learning
- Develop and maintain up-to-date teaching resources and materials
- Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and staff meetings
- Support extracurricular activities and student projects
- Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology or Art with PGCE
- Proven experience in teaching at the secondary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
- Commitment to student success and academic excellence
Preferred
- Experience in international school settings
- Familiarity with the English National Curriculum
- Leadership experience or involvement in school initiatives
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL)
