The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Economics/Business Studies lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Support student learning through differentiated instruction, inquiry-based learning, and varied assessments.
• Monitor and report on student progress through formal and informal assessments and parent communication.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of long-term planning, schemes of work, and curriculum writing.
• Engage in pastoral care activities, including potential homeroom responsibilities and student support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Economics.
• Experience teaching Economics/Business Studies at the secondary level.
• Willingness to teach INS / Humanities to G6-10 students.
• Strong curriculum-writing and planning skills.
• Commitment to student learning, wellbeing, and safeguarding.

Preferred

• Experience teaching DP, MYP, A-Level, or Advanced Placement Business or Economics.
• Background in an international school setting.
• Experience with IB Diploma program delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
