Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent and effective support strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback to stakeholders.
  • Provide professional development and guidance to teaching staff on inclusive teaching practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and interventions.
  • Liaise with external professionals, such as psychologists and speech therapists, when necessary.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a learning support or special educational needs role.
  • Proven ability to work with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working within an international school environment.
  • Familiarity with IB or similar curricula.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in education or special needs.
  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
  • Experience in performing arts or music education.
