The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Global Perspectives and a second subject, ensuring student engagement and academic progress.
  • Develop and implement teaching strategies that align with the National Curriculum for England and school-specific enhancements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning, share best practices, and contribute to a supportive and inclusive school culture.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events to contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.
  • Support the school’s ethos of inclusivity, wellbeing, and academic excellence through active involvement in student and staff initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior leadership as required.
  • Stay updated with educational trends and innovations, incorporating them into teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed. or equivalent degree with a PGCE / PGDE or equivalent, demonstrating strong subject knowledge.
  • At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England from KS3 to KS5.
  • Ability to teach Global Perspectives and a second subject.

Preferred

  • Experience with AI or technology-integrated teaching methods.
  • Experience in curriculum development or innovation in education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for student success.
  • Familiarity with international education standards and best practices.
