Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences for Early Years and Junior students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning and development of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote international-mindedness and the IB philosophy across the school.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and families to support student progress and well-being.
  • Design and implement rich, challenging learning experiences that stretch students to achieve their full potential.
  • Support the continuous development of student learning through effective assessment strategies.
  • Participate in school-wide community events and contribute to the vibrant, sociable culture of the school.
  • Ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning through reflective practice and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Advanced/proficient-level English language skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a Bachelor’s Degree with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years’ experience teaching in a reputable school
  • A proven track record of outstanding student results
  • Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
  • Strong inter-cultural awareness and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate programme
  • Knowledge of student-centered, inquiry-based learning approaches
  • Experience in planning and delivering rich, engaging learning experiences
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom
