Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate student progress, achievement, and enjoyment in learning
• Collaborate with parents and multi-disciplinary teams to support student development
• Implement innovative and challenging teaching and learning strategies
• Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school community
• Deliver high-quality, individualised education that meets the needs of each student
• Support and lead professional development initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to teaching

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in special needs education
• Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks and best practices
• Ability to develop and deliver individualised learning plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Preferred

• Experience with autism, complex behaviours, or sensory needs
• Familiarity with SCERTS, ELKLAN, or PECS methodologies
• Experience in behaviour management or medical procedures
• Background in mainstream or special needs education
• Leadership experience or interest in taking on leadership roles
