Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate student progress, achievement, and enjoyment in learning
  • Collaborate with parents and multi-disciplinary teams to support student development
  • Implement innovative and engaging teaching strategies
  • Design challenging and inclusive learning experiences
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and provision
  • Support the school’s vision for holistic education
  • Work effectively within a team environment
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in special education
  • Proven ability to support students with a range of special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement
  • Experience working in a team environment

Preferred

  • Experience with autism, complex behaviours, or sensory needs
  • Knowledge of SCERTS, ELKLAN, or PECS methodologies
  • Experience in behaviour management or medical procedures
  • Background in special or mainstream education
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to professional development
