The Opportunity:

As a SENDCO / Learning Support Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities. This is a key position within a growing school, where you will help shape and develop the learning support provision, ensuring every student receives the care and challenge they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate high-quality learning support provision across the school
  • Develop and implement individualized learning journeys that empower students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external specialists to support student progress
  • Use data, assessments, and observations to inform targeted support strategies
  • Manage caseloads, documentation, and provision mapping effectively
  • Ensure safeguarding is central to all aspects of student support
  • Advocate for inclusion and personalized learning across the school community
  • Support teachers in delivering inclusive and challenging learning experiences

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in SEND support
  • Hold the National Professional Qualification for SENCOs
  • Strong knowledge of SEND across a range of needs and age groups
  • Ability to lead and coordinate support provision in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being

Preferred

  • Experience in a whole-school and cross-phase SEND role
  • Experience with curriculum delivery through project and theme-based approaches
  • Familiarity with British curriculum and international education standards
  • Experience with assessment and data-driven support strategies
  • Fluency in multiple languages
