The Opportunity:

A Senior Art & Design Technology Teacher is needed to join a dynamic and growing school. This role will play a key part in shaping the creative and technical skills of students, delivering a high-quality British curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art & Design Technology lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to support student learning.
  • Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects and school-wide initiatives.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, ensuring their academic and personal development.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and developments in Art & Design Technology education.
  • Mentor and support junior staff where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s curriculum and co-curricular programme.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject with PGCE qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Art & Design Technology in a UK or international school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the British curriculum and its application in Art & Design Technology.
  • Excellent classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and holistic development.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or senior teaching role.
  • Familiarity with co-curricular activities and extracurricular programme development.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and international environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
