The Opportunity:

As a Senior School Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the Deputy Head (Academic) and academic staff, playing a key role in the smooth operation of the Senior School. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Deputy Head (Academic) and academic staff.
  • Manage and organise the Deputy Head (Academic)’s diary, emails, and communications.
  • Proactively respond to queries on behalf of the Deputy Head (Academic) to support their priorities.
  • Monitor and manage live information on pupil welfare and whereabouts.
  • Answer telephone calls, record messages, and distribute them to relevant staff with discretion.
  • Support the organisation of key school events, including pupil reports and parents’ evenings.
  • Provide administrative cover for the wider team when required.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as assigned by the Headmaster or Deputy Head (Academic).

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Outstanding organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) with knowledge of OneDrive and SharePoint an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Professional and approachable attitude with excellent customer service skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with My School Portal and iSAMS.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced administrative environment.
  • Familiarity with school management systems and administrative processes.
