The Opportunity:
As a Senior School Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the Deputy Head (Academic) and academic staff, playing a key role in the smooth operation of the Senior School. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Deputy Head (Academic) and academic staff.
- Manage and organise the Deputy Head (Academic)’s diary, emails, and communications.
- Proactively respond to queries on behalf of the Deputy Head (Academic) to support their priorities.
- Monitor and manage live information on pupil welfare and whereabouts.
- Answer telephone calls, record messages, and distribute them to relevant staff with discretion.
- Support the organisation of key school events, including pupil reports and parents’ evenings.
- Provide administrative cover for the wider team when required.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as assigned by the Headmaster or Deputy Head (Academic).
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Outstanding organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) with knowledge of OneDrive and SharePoint an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Professional and approachable attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Preferred
- Experience with My School Portal and iSAMS.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced administrative environment.
- Familiarity with school management systems and administrative processes.
