The Opportunity:

As a Senior Teaching Assistant, you will support students in both individual and group settings, delivering targeted interventions that promote academic and personal growth. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to making a meaningful impact on student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers, the SENCO, and inclusion team in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities.
• Implement targeted interventions to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with parents and carers.
• Supervise learning activities and ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
• Support the induction and development of classroom support staff.
• Foster positive, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues, and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Substantial experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• A strong commitment to inclusion, equality, and safeguarding.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred

• Experience with supporting students with special educational needs.
• Experience in delivering targeted interventions or pastoral support.
• Experience in a school setting with a focus on inclusion and student wellbeing.
