The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Spanish Teacher to join its Secondary School team for a part-time, one-year contract. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic and growing Modern Languages Faculty, with a strong emphasis on student engagement and cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons across the Secondary School age range.
  • Support the development and implementation of the school’s updated Languages Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Prepare and deliver IGCSE, A Level, and IB Language B courses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Modern Languages Faculty’s vision and impact.
  • Promote cultural awareness and linguistic confidence among students.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Contribute to the school’s values-driven community through active involvement in student and staff activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching Spanish.
  • Experience in delivering IGCSE, A Level, and/or IB Language B courses.
  • Strong commitment to the school’s guiding principles and values.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development or review processes.
  • Knowledge of modern language teaching methodologies.
  • Experience working in an international or multicultural setting.
  • Familiarity with the British curriculum or similar educational frameworks.
