A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Psychology with Sociology to join its dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Psychology and Sociology at both KS4 and KS5.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum for England.
- Support student progress through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
- Contribute to the enriched curriculum, including extracurricular activities and charitable initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
- At least 3 years’ experience of the National Curriculum for England.
- Experience teaching Psychology with Sociology at KS4 and KS5.
- A proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
- A mindset that believes all students have the potential for top performance.
Preferred
- Experience contributing to an enriched curriculum programme.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with global citizenship and cultural awareness initiatives.
