Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Physics lessons at GCSE and A Level, using the AQA specification.
• Support the development and implementation of the science curriculum across all key stages.
• Contribute to the school’s strong enrichment programme, including science trips and extra-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and values-based approach to teaching and learning.
• Provide pastoral support to students, contributing to their overall well-being and academic success.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education to maintain and enhance teaching standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and achievement.
• Participate in school events and activities that promote the school’s values and ethos.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant degree and teaching qualification.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in Physics at GCSE and A Level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.

Preferred

• Experience in delivering science lessons in purpose-built laboratories.
• Familiarity with the AQA specification for GCSE and A Level Physics.
• Experience with enrichment activities and extra-curricular science clubs.
