Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning by providing individual and group assistance to students.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources and materials.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the school’s leadership and character development programme.
  • Assist with behaviour management and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Support students with additional needs where required.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student outcomes and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
  • Experience working with students on a one-to-one, in small groups, and in whole-class settings.

Preferred

  • Experience in a faith-based or values-driven educational setting.
  • Knowledge of leadership development and character education programmes.
  • Experience with supporting students with additional needs.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
