Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning by providing individual and group assistance to students.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources and materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers.
- Contribute to the implementation of the school’s leadership and character development programme.
- Assist with behaviour management and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Support students with additional needs where required.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student outcomes and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working with children in a school setting.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
- Experience working with students on a one-to-one, in small groups, and in whole-class settings.
Preferred
- Experience in a faith-based or values-driven educational setting.
- Knowledge of leadership development and character education programmes.
- Experience with supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
