The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning through one-to-one, small group, and whole class interventions.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and leadership programme.
  • Monitor and support pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes leadership and character development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils and other adults.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and support learning across different group sizes.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership-focused educational setting.
  • Knowledge of curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Experience in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
