Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning through one-to-one, small group, and whole class interventions.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and leadership programme.
- Monitor and support pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes leadership and character development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and support.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working with children in a school setting.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils and other adults.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support learning across different group sizes.
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership-focused educational setting.
- Knowledge of curriculum planning and delivery.
- Experience in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
