Summary:

Site Supervisor needed to ensure a safe and well-maintained learning environment at a primary school.

The Opportunity:

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment that supports the learning and well-being of students. This is a vital role in ensuring the school operates smoothly and meets the high standards expected at a school dedicated to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all school facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks and report any issues promptly.
  • Manage work records and keep accurate logs of completed tasks.
  • Identify and prioritise work to maintain a high standard of school environment.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessments.
  • Support the delivery of a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Assist with caretaking and cleaning duties as required.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all areas of the school are maintained to a high standard.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment.
  • Experience in carrying out specialist building maintenance work.
  • Ability to keep accurate work records.
  • Experience in performing caretaking and cleaning duties.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance systems and tools.
  • Experience with health and safety training.
