The Opportunity:

As an Academy Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s mission to ensure every student succeeds at university or in a high-quality apprenticeship. This is a vital position that contributes directly to the school’s vision of developing confident, capable, and successful young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative processes to support the smooth running of the academy.
  • Coordinate communication between staff, students, and parents to ensure clarity and transparency.
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures across all departments.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to help drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist with the planning and organization of events and training sessions for staff and students.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to senior leadership and other teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, health and safety, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using office software and administrative systems.
  • Commitment to the values of hard work, independence, and enjoyment.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
  • Knowledge of school operations, including safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Experience with flexible working arrangements and hybrid working models.
  • Previous involvement in professional development and staff training initiatives.
