Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to EYFS and KS1 students, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans that support the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, reduce workload, and enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to grow as an educator and leader.
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback to students to support their progress and development.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in EYFS or KS1 education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 curricula.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver engaging, child-centered learning experiences.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of hard work, independence, and enjoyment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and use of technology in the classroom.
  • Experience with continuous professional development and coaching programs.
  • Familiarity with flexible working arrangements and hybrid teaching models.
  • Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
