The Opportunity:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our Infant & Junior Division in providing wrap-around care and support. The position offers flexibility with term-time hours and additional opportunities during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the Infant & Junior Division during wrap-around care hours.
  • Assist with the supervision and engagement of students in a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver structured and enriching activities.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive culture among students.
  • Ensure the smooth running of daily operations in the care setting.
  • Provide individualized support to students as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with children in a school or care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility to work during term-time and additional hours during school holidays.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a teaching or support role within an educational institution.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories.
