A school is seeking a highly motivated and inspirational Maths Teacher to cover a maternity leave position for one year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student achievement and support a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students across key stages.
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and cross-subject initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
• Support the school’s Catholic ethos and values within the classroom and wider school community.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in mathematics.
• Experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

• Experience with Ofsted inspections or working in a school with a similar rating.
• Familiarity with using digital tools and resources in teaching.
• Experience in pastoral care or student support.
• Experience in leading or contributing to professional development initiatives.
