The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Weekend Lifeguard to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and visitors across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about safeguarding and enjoys working in a vibrant, values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and visitors during all assigned shifts.
  • Monitor and respond to emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or issues.
  • Support the delivery of lifeguarding initiatives across multiple locations within the school group.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with the organization and delivery of swimming and water-based activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • NPLQ qualified lifeguard.
  • Experience in lifeguarding or a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites and locations.
  • Knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
  • Experience with water safety programs and initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.25 per hour.
