The Opportunity:

We are seeking an inspiring and passionate A Level / IBDP Physical Education Teacher to deliver high-quality PE teaching and support PE and sports across middle and senior school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach PE and Sports at A Level and/or IBDP, ensuring high academic and practical standards.
  • Support the delivery of PE and sports to younger pupils across middle and senior school as needed.
  • Track, assess, and support pupil progress, promoting physical, personal, and social development.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, including EAL pupils.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and extracurricular sports programmes.
  • Engage in enrichment opportunities and broader school life.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • Embrace technology, including AI, VR, and digital tools, to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Successful experience teaching PE at A Level and/or IBDP, with evidence of strong pupil outcomes.
  • Fluency in English with excellent spoken, written, and technical communication skills.
  • Experience teaching across multiple age groups and ability levels.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and positive attitude, contributing fully to department and school life.
  • Commitment to pastoral care and to supporting the holistic development of students.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies for EAL learners effectively.
