Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality Art & Design lessons from KS3 to A Level.
• Track, assess and support student progress, ensuring strong academic outcomes.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students for whom English may be an additional language.
• Contribute to the wider visual arts culture of the school, including exhibitions and enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and pastoral leaders to support student development.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continual learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Successful experience teaching Art & Design up to A Level, with evidence of strong value-added outcomes.
• A creative, student-centred approach to teaching, rooted in Quality First Teaching.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and technical language skills.
• A commitment to pastoral care and to developing the whole child.

Preferred

• Experience with integrating technology, including VR, AI, and digital tools, into teaching.
