The Opportunity:

As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in managing the admissions process for students joining the school in years 7–11. This is a part-time opportunity that offers flexibility, a supportive working environment, and the chance to be part of a school that is dedicated to transforming lives through education and faith.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day processing of applications for the Year 7 intake and in-year admissions.
  • Respond to admissions-related queries via email and phone, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Support the Admissions Manager in organizing and running admissions events and operational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and update the Applicaa admissions system and the school website.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other local stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with the Admissions Code and uphold the school’s values and standards.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of admissions processes and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Admissions Manager and other departments to ensure a smooth transition for new students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous work experience in admissions administration and a school environment.
  • Strong understanding of internal and external customer service principles.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

  • A Level 3 qualification.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for working with children.
  • Experience with SIMS or other school management systems.
  • Understanding of Christian values and ethos.
