The Opportunity:
As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in managing the admissions process for students joining the school in years 7–11. This is a part-time opportunity that offers flexibility, a supportive working environment, and the chance to be part of a school that is dedicated to transforming lives through education and faith.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day processing of applications for the Year 7 intake and in-year admissions.
- Respond to admissions-related queries via email and phone, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Support the Admissions Manager in organizing and running admissions events and operational activities.
- Maintain accurate records and update the Applicaa admissions system and the school website.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other local stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with the Admissions Code and uphold the school’s values and standards.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of admissions processes and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the Admissions Manager and other departments to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous work experience in admissions administration and a school environment.
- Strong understanding of internal and external customer service principles.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
- A Level 3 qualification.
- Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for working with children.
- Experience with SIMS or other school management systems.
- Understanding of Christian values and ethos.
