  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND needs.
  • Stay up to date with current teaching practices and curriculum requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a valid teaching qualification.
  • Secure knowledge of teaching English Language.
  • Experience or willingness to learn current AQA English GCSE and Functional Skills specifications.
  • Commitment to working in a therapeutic and supportive environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a SEND environment or with SEND students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Creative and innovative teaching approach.
  • Experience in a therapeutic or residential setting.
