As a Secondary Learning Support Assistant - French, you will play a key role in supporting students in their academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their learning through individualized assistance and guidance.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement strategies that meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assist in preparing and organizing learning materials and resources for French language instruction.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to enhance students' language skills and confidence.
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with teachers and parents.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Participate in school events and activities that celebrate multilingual and cultural diversity.
• Stay updated on best practices in language support and educational technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a teaching or learning support role, preferably in a multilingual environment.
• Strong knowledge of the French language and ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written French.
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework and curriculum.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection principles.

Preferred

• Experience working with secondary students in a bilingual or international school setting.
• Familiarity with the Swiss Baccalaureate programme.
• Experience with educational technology and digital learning tools.
• Knowledge of STEAM curriculum and its integration into language learning.
