The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Arabic Teacher - Secondary to join a dynamic and supportive school community. This role offers the opportunity to shape the learning experience of students while contributing to a school that values excellence and innovation in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Arabic lessons in line with the MOE syllabus and curriculum standards.
  • Plan and prepare engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of all students, including SEN, EAL, and G&T.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and academic success.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using Target Tracker and other assessment tools.
  • Support hybrid, distance, and face-to-face learning models to ensure consistency and quality in teaching.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Participate in curriculum action groups and contribute to the planning of school events and extra-curricular activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers through appropriate school systems and processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, specializing in Arabic and/or with a post-teaching qualification.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar teaching role.
  • Strong knowledge of the MOE syllabus and curriculum requirements.
  • Experience in managing and motivating students of varying abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL/TESOL).
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • IT literacy and familiarity with online teaching technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
