The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Art Teacher & Exams Officer to inspire students across KS3 to KS5, delivering a range of creative subjects including Art & Design, Photography, and Digital Media. This role combines teaching and examination administration, offering a unique opportunity to shape student learning and support academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Art & Design across Key Stages 3, 4 (IGCSE), and 5 (A-Level).
  • Deliver Photography and Digital Media & Design as part of the High School Diploma pathway.
  • Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations, helping them develop strong portfolios.
  • Create a stimulating studio environment that encourages experimentation and creativity.
  • Use traditional and digital techniques, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital editing.
  • Guide students in the use of design software and photography equipment.
  • Support students in participating in exhibitions, competitions, and creative opportunities.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of Art & Design spaces and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A-Level Art & Design.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records.
  • Experience supporting students in preparing for examinations and portfolio submissions.

Preferred

  • Experience in photography, digital media, or design software (e.g. Adobe Suite).
  • Strong artistic portfolio and ability to model high-level creative practice.
  • International school experience.
  • Experience in examination administration or management.
