Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Dutch Language and Literature to students in the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s mission and curriculum standards
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and professional development
  • Utilize online tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences
  • Participate in school activities, expeditions, and community events
  • Support students beyond designated classes when needed
  • Contribute to curriculum review and development initiatives
  • Implement formative assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student progress

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Teaching qualifications (B.Ed. or M.Ed.)
  • At least 3-5 years of teaching experience in Dutch Language and Literature
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Degree and teaching qualifications in Dutch Language and Literature

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in an international setting
  • Experience with IB MYP/DP programmes
  • Familiarity with online tools for teaching and learning
  • Experience in curriculum review and development
  • Experience with formative assessment practices
  • Experience with action research in education
