The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to Key Stage 3–5 students, aligned with international curriculum standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking and creativity.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings to maintain and improve teaching standards.
  • Support students in preparing for IGCSE, AS, and A-Level examinations.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote student success and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching English to secondary students (Key Stage 3–5).
  • Strong knowledge of the British curriculum and international education standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and the school’s core values.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative in a collaborative environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Cambridge International Examinations.
  • Previous teaching experience in an international school setting.
  • Fluency in a second language.
  • Experience in developing and delivering cross-curricular projects.
