Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and hands-on Design & Technology lessons across KS3–5
• Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s vision and values
• Use digital tools and practical resources to enhance student learning
• Encourage creativity, innovation, and critical thinking in students
• Support safeguarding and inclusion across all aspects of teaching
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and impactful learning experience
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Design & Technology
• Participate in school-wide events and initiatives that promote the school’s mission and values

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Design & Technology
• Ability to deliver practical and theoretical learning across KS3–5
• Confidence in using digital tools, product design, or resistant materials
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience teaching exam-level Design & Technology
• Background in design thinking or project-based learning
• Experience working in an international school environment
• Familiarity with the British curriculum or similar frameworks
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
