The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons.
  • Support student development through effective assessment and data-driven teaching strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Act as a form tutor and support the pastoral needs of students.
  • Embed the school's core values and DNA into all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular activities, including weekly ECA sessions.
  • Participate in school events, outings, and activities, including those held outside of regular hours.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the English National Curriculum.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the school's vision and mission.
  • Passion for education and belief in student potential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate resilience.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching across a range of ages and abilities.
  • Experience working in multiple international schools.
  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
