The Opportunity:

As an Inclusion Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire academic success and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture aligned with the school’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-focused lessons.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and other professionals to support student well-being and academic progress.
  • Use assessment data to inform teaching strategies and support individual learning needs.
  • Work closely with support staff and external professionals such as speech and language therapists.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
  • Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and curriculum planning initiatives.
  • Ensure the school’s core values and teaching DNA are embedded in all aspects of classroom practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • Recent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • Experience with curriculum planning and assessment tools such as Target Tracker.
  • Familiarity with international curricula and teaching methodologies.
