Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging and curriculum-focused lessons.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment through effective classroom management and resource organization.
  • Assess student progress and use data to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
  • Support the school’s values and DNA by embedding them into daily teaching and learning practices.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities, including organizing and running weekly ECA sessions.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student progress and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience.
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
