Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inspiring and effective lessons that motivate students and support their academic progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum-based lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
  • Maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and engagement.
  • Assess student progress using school systems and provide feedback to parents and carers.
  • Work with support staff and external professionals to enhance student development and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and curriculum planning initiatives.
  • Ensure the school's values and teaching philosophy are consistently reflected in all aspects of teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in the related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience.
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or equivalent police check.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to the holistic development of students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work beyond standard hours when required.
