Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Maths and Science to KS2 students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality, curriculum-focused lessons.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Maintain and manage classroom resources to create an effective and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess student progress and use data to inform planning and intervention strategies.
• Support students with additional needs through collaboration with support staff and external professionals.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities, including running weekly ECA sessions.
• Contribute to school events, outings, and activities, including those taking place outside of regular school hours.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience.
• Clear understanding of the British curriculum for primary education.

Preferred

• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and solution-focused attitude to teaching and working life.
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
