Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art lessons aligned with IGCSE, IBDP, and National Curriculum standards.
  • Plan and structure lessons that meet teaching objectives and challenge students effectively.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support students with special educational needs and those who are gifted and talented.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve teaching practices.
  • Select and use appropriate teaching resources to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development to stay current with pedagogical research and subject developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • B.Ed. or bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a teaching certificate (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to teach in English.
  • Strong knowledge of Art curriculum, including IGCSE, IBDP, and National Curriculum guidelines.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching at A level, IGCSE, or IBDP.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students and foster a love of Art.
