Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Art lessons aligned with IGCSE, IBDP, and National Curriculum standards.
- Plan and structure lessons that meet teaching objectives and challenge students effectively.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students with special educational needs and those who are gifted and talented.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve teaching practices.
- Select and use appropriate teaching resources to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate in professional development to stay current with pedagogical research and subject developments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- B.Ed. or bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a teaching certificate (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to teach in English.
- Strong knowledge of Art curriculum, including IGCSE, IBDP, and National Curriculum guidelines.
Preferred
- Experience teaching at A level, IGCSE, or IBDP.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students and foster a love of Art.
