The Opportunity:

As an Elementary School Teacher Grade 3, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds through a developmentally appropriate and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and implement a developmentally appropriate instructional program that supports student growth and achievement.
  • Monitor student progress using data to inform instruction and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on student performance and needs.
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and instructional coaches to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
  • Supervise students to ensure a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional learning and school initiatives to improve teaching practices and student success.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities by supervising at least one after-school program.
  • Develop standards-based units of study and assessments using backward design.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time classroom teaching experience.
  • Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of standards-based grading, differentiated instruction, and balanced literacy.
  • Valid teaching license.
  • Strong ICT skills and ability to integrate technology into teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience with sheltered instruction and supporting language learners.
  • Familiarity with international curricula and educational standards.
  • Experience with data-driven instruction and assessment practices.
  • Experience in collaborative teaching and team-based learning environments.
