The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Art that inspire and challenge students
- Plan and develop an ambitious and inclusive Art curriculum aligned with current educational standards
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely interventions where needed
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department
- Support the school’s vision for student achievement and personal development
- Participate in professional development and contribute to school improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and external partners
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Art
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding lessons and support student progress
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience teaching Photography
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
- Demonstrated success in developing and leading creative learning experiences
- Familiarity with current educational technologies and teaching methods
