Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Art that inspire and challenge students
• Plan and develop an ambitious and inclusive Art curriculum aligned with current educational standards
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely interventions where needed
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department
• Support the school’s vision for student achievement and personal development
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school improvement initiatives
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and external partners
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Art
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding lessons and support student progress
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

• Experience teaching Photography
• Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
• Demonstrated success in developing and leading creative learning experiences
• Familiarity with current educational technologies and teaching methods
