The Opportunity:

As the Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of students across the school. This is a leadership position that supports the school’s mission to deliver high-quality, internationally recognized education through innovative teaching and learning practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement school-wide teaching and learning strategies aligned with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate frameworks.
• Support the Head of Teaching and Learning in leading professional development and teacher training initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning across all grades and subjects.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in pedagogy.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with the school’s strategic goals and educational vision.
• Promote the school’s multilingual and international curriculum through effective leadership and communication.
• Oversee the integration of technology and pedagogical innovation in the classroom.
• Provide guidance and support to teaching staff to enhance student outcomes and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven leadership experience in an international school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning leadership.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Preferred

• Experience with multilingual and bilingual education programs.
• Familiarity with STEAM education and innovative teaching methodologies.
• Background in working within a Nord Anglia Education school or similar international network.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment design.
