Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and purposeful Food and Nutrition lessons to secondary students
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Support student progress through regular assessment and feedback
• Participate in school-wide events and extracurricular activities
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and guardians
• Stay updated with current Food and Nutrition trends and best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's curriculum and teaching standards

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a bachelor’s degree with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with QTS or equivalent
• At least 3 years of teaching experience
• Proficient Level of English
• Experience working in a British school, preferably in the UAE
• GCSE experience
• A commitment to providing exciting and purposeful learning opportunities
• Strong team player with a passion for teaching and learning

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Background in Food and Nutrition or related field
• Experience in curriculum development
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment
