The Opportunity:

As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Physical Education across Key Stages 1–5 and supporting a thriving sports programme. You will contribute to a competitive fixtures calendar and extensive ECA provision, helping to foster participation, inclusion, and sporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 1–5
• Coach and lead Netball, Football, or Basketball to a high standard
• Support the development of student athletes through squad training and fixtures
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of a broad and varied ECA programme
• Promote participation and sporting excellence across all levels of the school
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE and Sport department
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified PE teacher with relevant teaching qualifications
• Experience teaching PE across primary and/or secondary phases
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice
• Ability to coach and lead one or more sports to a high standard
• Commitment to fostering participation, inclusion, and sporting excellence

Preferred

• Experience teaching BTEC and GCSE PE
• Experience in a school with a strong sports programme
• Willingness to contribute to a busy fixtures calendar and ECA programme
